Blueberry Scones

Blueberry Scones

 

 

- 2c All Purpose Flour

- 1/4c Sugar

- 1 tbs Baking Powder

- 1/4c Butter, chilled & cubed

-1/2c Milk

-1 Egg

-1 tsp Almond Extract

-3/4c Dried Blueberries

-1/4c Sliced Almonds

 

Preheat Oven to 350°F.

Combine Flour, Sugar, and Baking Powder in a large mixing bowls. Add in the butter using a food processor until the mixture resembles thick crumbs. Add 2/3 of the milk, egg, and almond extract. Stir until smooth. 

Add the blueberries and almonds. Stir to combine.

Roll or pat the dough into a disc and cut into wedges. Arrange on a greased baking sheet. Brush the tops with milk.

Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
