- 1/2c Hazelnuts
- 1/4c 3 tsp Sugar
- 3/4c All Purpose Flour
- 1/2c Unsalted Butter, Cubed
Preheat Oven to 350°F.
Toast hazelnuts on a shallow baking sheet for 5 minutes. Rub off the loose skins with a rough cloth and cool to room temperature.
Pulse nuts with 1/4c of sugar in the food processor until nuts are finely ground. Combine with flour and a pinch of salt.
Add in butter and pulse until dough balls up. Divide in half, then roll out the dough into 1" wide logs. Chill for an hour.
Cut each long into 1/2" slices and arrange on baking sheets. Bake until pale golden, 12-15 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar and additional crushed hazelnuts. Allow to cool completely.
